Hanerot Halalu, an ancient chant mentioned in the Talmud (Soferim 20:6), reminds us of the sacred nature of the Hanukkah lights that are lit to commemorate and publicize the Chanukah miracles. the hebrew date of my birthday is 25 kislev according to my teudat z'huv, but when i checked the hebrew date of my birthday, i was born at 10:59 pm which kicked me into 26 kislev, but i am still a channukah baby!!
